Control Charts

Introduction
SPC Works may display X_bar and Standard Deviation, X_bar and Range, and Individual and Moving Range charts. Histograms may also be displayed at the right-hand-side of each chart. All control chart attributes may be customized from the Chart Style dialog.

Control charts may display seven items: 1) subgroups, 2) samples, 3) control limits, 4) spec limits, 5) out-of-control subgroups, 6) out-of-spec samples, and 7) logbook entries. Chart items (such as samples, subgroups, and logbook items) may be probed with a mouse to display additional information about the item.

Displaying Control Charts
To view a control chart, select a part and variable from the Part and Var menus located of the left-hand-side of the main window. Next select the Control Charts icon from the toolbar.

To edit control chart style select the Chart Style icon located on the toolbar.

Statistical Settings
All statistical settings for control charts may be set from the Variable Settings dialog.
