Logbook Entries

Introduction
The Logbook is used to track changes made to a process. It is a log of all events/changes that occur to a process. Each entry to the Logbook contains a date, a text entry, and an identification number. The identification number located in the Key column may not be editted. It is used to identify the logbook entries when displayed on control charts.

To open the Logbook, select the Logbook icon located on the main window toolbar. All entries are displayed within this dialog.

Add/Delete a Logbook Entry
To add/delete a logbook entry right-click on the logbook window and select Add or Delete from the popup menu; a new logbook item will appear.

Editing an Entry Text
To edit the log entry text, simply click on the text field and begin editting.

Editing an Entry Date
To edit the log entry date, simply click on the date field and begin editting. Most date formats may be recongnized; if the format is not recognized the edit will be cancelled.

Displaying Logbook Entries on Control Charts.
Logbook items may be displayed on control charts by activating them from the Chart Style dialog. To open the Chart Style dialog click the icon located on the main window toolbar.
