Sorting Data

Introduction
Samples may be sorted chronologically, or by tag (for more info regarding tags see Variable Settings) from the spreadsheet window. To open the spreadsheet window, select the spreadsheet icon located on the main window toolbar. There are three ways to sort samples: 1) by time, 2) by sample number, and 3) by tag.

Sorting Samples by Time
To sort data chronologically left-click within the spreadsheet window, select Sort Data by Time from the popup menu. All data will be sorted by the dates listed under the column labeled Time. Warning: this process may NOT be undone!

Sorting Samples by Sample Number
Sample numbers are the unique numbers identifying the order in which samples were collected. Samples numbers are listed in the spreadsheet window under the column labeled Num, and they may not be edited. To sort data by sample number left-click within the spreadsheet window, select Sort Data by Sample Number. All data will be sorted by the sample numbers listed under the column labeled Num. Warning: this process may NOT be undone!

Sorting Samples by Tag
To sort data by a tag, left-click within the appropriate Tag's column of the spreadsheet window. Select Sort Data by Tag. All data will be sorted by the selected Tag's values. Warning: this process may NOT be undone!
